i like assigning songs to moments.

these past 7 days, minus a few hours, have been an unimaginable exercise in restraint and emotion and life for me in so many ways. (life has a way of ALWAYS hitting me all at once.) i couldn’t have gotten through what i have so far without two of my amazing friends, who have been consistently listening to me complain and have had a stranglehold on my behavior (even though I’ve strayed from time to time). incredibly, i don’t pay them to do this.

this song (and video) is one of my favorites lately, and i think it works nicely for this. so here’s to surrounding yourself with amazing people. life would really suck without them.
