ORIGINS
if i were you, i’d be wondering: why “the forty-seven” for an ostensibly music-oriented blog? here’s your answer:
my favorite tv show ever is j.j. abrams’ “alias.” one of the things j.j. does extremely well in all his shows is showcase great music.
another j.j. abrams hallmark is the so-called “easter egg”…little gems hidden in the show that only the loyal viewers will pick up. loyal alias viewers know that the number 47 appears in almost every episode of the show.
and…you know…this blog is kind of MY alias. my homage to things i love about music and pop culture and other things that make me smile. so there you have it! i hope you enjoy it as much as i do. :)
